Zerith

A scholar can easily suffer from semantic satiation over the use of the word “Zerith” when studying any Western history of the world. In the East, the world is called “Heimwelt,” and “al Alyamu” in the Great Desert, but we in the West call it simply Zerith. Of course, that should not be confused with our word for the Known World, the landmass known as Zerith. Nor the largest of the Three Kingdoms, Zerithia, nor even those pale-skinned, dark-haired humans called Zerithian. And, of course, there is the language spoken in Zerithian lands, usually called Modern Zerithian.
